When I first met Eric Pearl and learned about Reconnective Healing®, I assumed it was just another healing modality. By then, I had already tried many approaches in my search for healing and wholeness, following a long and demanding path of recovery. 

At that time, my body was still severely limited due to multiple heart-related surgeries. At the age of 27, something as simple as walking up the stairs felt like a genuine challenge.

But I felt I had nothing to lose. And somehow, Eric’s lecture deeply touched me. He was funny and serious at the same time — light, yet precise. He spoke words that resonated in my bones, things I somehow already knew to be true. 

 When I decided to surrender on the massage table to receive The Reconnection®, it was unlike anything I had ever imagined. And honestly, at first, it frightened me a little.

My body began to move intensely — my arms shaking, my legs trembling, my head moving rapidly from side to side.

Yet in that very moment, alongside the fear, a deep feeling of love arose.

I knew I was being helped.

So I surrendered and allowed an inner wisdom to take over — something far greater than my mind, something that knew exactly what to do.

What happened after that was, medically speaking, considered pure magic.

My body began to recover in ways no one could have predicted. Nerve pain disappeared, and slowly, I was given my life back.

I could be young again. I could travel. I could live.

I wanted everyone to know about Reconnective Healing and about Eric’s work, so I joined his team. The years that followed were extraordinary — rich, meaningful, and deeply formative.

Now, nearly two decades later, Eric and Jillian are returning to the Netherlands. And my heart is overflowing with joy.

“In 2010, I was in a job that no longer felt right, and I was exhausted. When I read something about Reconnective Healing, I thought, why not give it a try—having no idea what it actually involved. I didn’t really care what it was, as long as I could recharge for a bit, or so I thought.

For me, the three sessions I received were very special experiences. In the months that followed, I noticed that I had become calmer, more balanced, and less worried. I felt more connected to myself and to who I wanted to be.

Right after the sessions, I knew: this is something I want to learn myself. In 2011, Dr. Eric Pearl and the Reconnection team came to Amsterdam, and I signed up for the training. I completed Levels 1 and 2, and on the way home an idea suddenly came to me, ‘out of the blue’: I was going to start my own practice. That same week, I registered with the Chamber of Commerce and started Praktijk In Balance, with absolutely no idea how—but everything flowed naturally, and it worked.

In 2012, I received two sessions of The Reconnection myself and felt deeply connected to a greater whole, filled with an immense sense of joy. That same year, I followed another seminar to become a facilitator of The Reconnection. The connection from The Reconnection is something I continue to feel to this day. It is always there. In my life, I noticed that things began to flow more easily, and there was synchronicity—people and opportunities appearing just when I thought of them. A deep trust that everything is okay, and a sense of clarity.

My practice continued to grow, and over time I followed more trainings, developing myself further and further. I became an ambassador for The Reconnection and assisted at events, fairs, and lectures.

I have noticed that I keep returning to Reconnective Healing—that beautiful healings emerge from it again and again, and that the frequencies are always present. It is simple, pure, natural, and lasting.”
